You can receive an invoice. However, the decision must be made and communicated to the testing point employee prior to payment.

Invoices are issued to a natural person or a company.

  • In the case of an invoice for a company, it is enough to provide the tax identification number; company data are collected from the Central Statistical Office database – please make sure that they are up-to-date.

Quarantine & isolation

According to current regulations: “all restrictions on travel to the Republic of Poland are lifted, which means there is no obligation to: present COVID certificates when crossing the border; test for SARS-CoV-2; undergo the so-called entry quarantine”.

Please remember that COVID restrictions change often and may vary for patients coming from different territories or having various medical conditions. To get most recent information, please read these regulations carefully: https://www.gov.pl/web/coronavirus/quarantine.

We recommend keeping at least 7-10 day interval between tests if the first result is positive. Please keep in mind that RT-PCR is a very sensitive technique and may detect remnants of infection, ie. very low level of viral load. Sometimes even after this period we may detect some traces of virus and mark them as inconclusive result, which prolongs the isolation.

Test result interpretation

RT-PCR Test
  • A positive test result means that the test confirmed the presence of SARS-CoV-2 genetic material in the biological material collected from the patient.
  • A negative test result means that the test showed the absence of SARS-CoV-2 genetic material in the biological material collected from the patient, within the detection threshold.
  • An inconclusive test result means that the test does not allow for unequivocal determination of the presence of SARS-CoV-2 genetic material in the biological material collected from the patient; it is recommended to repeat the test within 24-48 hours.
  • The undiagnostic test result means that the quality of the biological material collected from the patient did not allow for unequivocal determination of the presence of SARS-CoV-2; it is recommended to repeat the test as soon as possible.
Rapid Antigen Test
  • A positive test result means that there is a high probability of infection with SARS-CoV-2.
  • A negative test result means that the test confirmed the absence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the biological material collected from the patient, within the sensitivity and specificity threshold of the test; it is recommended to confirm the absence of SARS-CoV-2 with a genetic test.
  • An undiagnostic test result means that the quality of the biological material collected from the patient did not allow for unequivocal determination of the presence of SARS-CoV-2; it is recommended how
repeat the test as quickly as possible.
